Korean Culture and Holidays
Korea is quite a unique place, far different from the west. You’ll find that Koreans follow a more Confucian way of life. As a result, Korean society is very hierarchical and it is important for Koreans to show respect for their elders and superiors.
While Korea is home to many foreigners of all backgrounds, it is still considered to be a relatively homogenous society. Consequently, the average Korean does not know or interact with many people that don’t share their cultural or ethnic background. However, many times they are curious to learn… and that’s where you come in!
